To share Japanese art and culture, Cultural News Club is organized by Shige Higashi, publisher and editor of Cultural News.

 

Shige was born and raised in Japan and came to Los Angeles in 1981 at the age of 27. Since then he has been in news and travel business and realizes how much Japanese culture is appreciated in the U.S.

 

Los Angeles has the largest Japanese expatriate population in the world and the center of Japanese cultural activities outside of Japan.

 

By publishing monthly Cultural News since 1998, Shige is striving to introduce these Japanese people’s efforts to American enthusiasts of Japanese culture in Southern California, Las Vegas, and Phoenix regions.

 

Since July 2009, Shige has added CN Online Daily (email) to his services for spreading Japanese culture.

 

Cultural News Club members will receive monthly Cultural News and/or CN Online Daily (email).

 

Cultural News Club members will receive invitations to special events organized by Cultural News.

 

Cultural News Club members will support the promotion of Japanese tradition and value.
